Will the real Richie FIG’s please stand up?

Richard “Richie Fig’s” Figueroa had quite the weekend. Finally starting to live up to the hype of a TOP RECRUIT, Figueroa captured not just one upset but TWO over the weekend! On saturday, #25 Richie Fig’s scored a tactical 5-3 UPSET over #2 Luke Stanich of Lehigh, but did he rest on his laurels? Of course not, Richard “Fig Shootin” took down #5 Caleb Smith of Nebraska 4-3. Smith had come into this match on FIRE!

This brings us to our previous post of the 125 lbs. Deep Dive in “MOCK MATNESS”. Perhaps our team of monkey’s working around the clock have really started to dial in their projections. Wrestle MATNESS predicted Figueroa to upset Braeden Davis (Penn St.) in the 1st round before taking down highly ranked Jore Volk (Wyoming) in the 2nd Round before Eric Barnett (Wisconsin) was chosen to end Mr. FIG’s run in the quarterfinals.

I’m not sure about you, but I might want to reconsider advancing this mega-talented wrestler to at least the Semifinals!
