What a way to end the dual season! This historic matchup always seems to deliver, and we are here for it. Who is the 2nd best team in the country?

When looking at the lineups, there are more studs than a… ah nevermind. Both teams boast (5) wrestlers each, ranked in the top #5 in the country. Oklahoma St. has then two more guys holding the #6 rank while IOWA has two holding the #7 rank. The parallel’s are crazy! IOWA has a secret weapon though. A young #1 recruit in the country Angelo Ferrari lurks in the shadows with 1 more FREE spin (incoming freshman are allowed 5 competitions while in redshirt). Dustin Plott has entered the chat.

You know what else is ironic? Wrestle MATNESS just wrapped up our most recent G.O.A.T. MATNESS bracket of NCAA Champs (134 - 141 lbs.), and the FINAL was legendary 🤠 John Smith defeating current IOWA head coach Tom Brands. Isn’t it ironic, don’t ya think? Ok, that’s enough.
